Dominik Grau (*1980) can look back on a long time career in the media sector. After his studies, he started as trainee at the computer-magazine „CHIP“, a subsidiary of „Hubert Burda Media“. After that he was chief editor at „BurdaYukom“ till 2007, where he was responsible for Content Marketing and Custom Publishing in several media channels. From 2007 till 2011 he was Director Online and responsible for all digital concerns at the B2C IT-branches of IDG Germany, for example the big technology portals pcwelt.de and macwelt.de. His Team has won the IDG Best Practice Award.
In 2011 „Ebner Verlag“ hired Dominik Grau as Managing Director for New York, where he was able to turn the local printed product for luxury watches into a global media platform with an enormous range. It is now present on four continents. Since July 2015 Dominik Grau is Chief Innovation Officer of „Ebner Verlag“. Together with CEO Gerrit Klein and COO Martin Metzger he is responsible fort he digital change in the media company, which has its headquarter in Ulm.
The CIO is responsible for the analysis oft he most important trends in advertising and technology worldwide and is leading all internal processes of innovation. The CIO is representing Ebner in the following situations: German Accelerator in New York and San Francisco under the leadership of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the German economic club New York, the German-American Chamber of Commerce and the British-American Business Council.
Dominik Grau is speaker at the world’s largest media congresses and Content Marketing Events. During his career he has won 15 global awards and nominations for digital media, print, events, content marketing and the increase of reach.
